Seahawks drop road decision at Lee College

BAYTOWN, Texas – Zion Young drained four 3-pointers en route to a game-high 22 points, but it wasn't enough as the Lamar State College Port Arthur Seahawks dropped a 95-74 decision to the host Lee College Navigators in a Region XIV men's basketball game Wednesday night.

J'Mar Franklin added 17 points for the Seahawks (8-6 overall, 2-4 Region XIV), while Nisani Mendez finished with 11 points.

Lee (8-5, 3-3) had four players score in double figures, led by Shamiere Green's 19 points.

The Seahawks return home to host the Bossier Parish Community College Cavaliers at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Carl Parker Multipurpose Center.
