PORT ARTHUR, Texas – The forecast for dangerous weather conditions this weekend forced the postponement of Saturday's Region XIV men's basketball game between the Lamar State College Port Arthur Seahawks and the Paris Junior College Dragons. The contest is rescheduled for 2 p.m. March 6 at Paris in a rare Friday afternoon matinee. It will be the final regular-season game for both squads before the Region XIV Tournament.

The Seahawks (10-8 overall, 4-6 Region XIV) return to action at 7 p.m. Wednesday when they host the Lee College Navigators (11-7, 6-4) in the Carl Parker Multipurpose Center.
