CORSICANA, Texas – Christian Andrews eclipsed the 20-point mark for the second consecutive game, but the Lamar State College Port Arthur Seahawks were on the short end of a 102-65 decision to the Navarro College Bulldogs in a Region XIV basketball game on Saturday.

Andrews, who had a personal season high of 25 points in Wednesday's loss to Bossier Parish Community College on Wednesday, finished with 22 points against Navarro, with 17 of those coming in the second half.
J'Mar Franklin scored 15 points, and Zion Young added 14 points for the short-handed Seahawks (12-16 overall, 6-14 Region XIV), who dressed just seven players due to injury.

Jaquarious Patterson and Olson Patterson had 21 points apiece to lead Navarro (14-14, 8-12) as the Bulldogs avenged a 73-67 loss to the Seahawks on Jan. 3 in Port Arthur.

The Seahawks return to the Carl A. Parker Multipurpose Center at 7 p.m. Wednesday to host Angelina College on Sophomore Night. LSCPA closes the regular season at Paris Junior College at 2 p.m. Friday in a makeup of the Jan.24 contest that was postponed because of treacherous weather conditions.
